Town Council Update

Under the current Government Guidelines, due to Covid-19, all face to face meetings of Talgarth Town Council are suspended. On 22nd April, Welsh Government issued new regulations which allows decisions to be made remotely, audio participation meetings, as a minimum. All notices have to be published on our website only, at: www.talgarthtowncouncil.co.uk

Planned monthly meetings and AGM will now take place via digital means. Consideration of planning application consultations received, continue, however site visits are cancelled.

The Town Hall, Talgarth, due to COVID-19 has been closed until further notice.

Grass Cutting at St Gwendoline’s Churchyard – In line with advice from One Voice Wales/Powys County Council, our contractors are allowed to continue this work. Social distancing rules apply. COVID-19 Guidance with reference to funerals has been produced and, is available on request.

As we all continue to learn a new way of life, please respect and follow Government guidelines and stay safe. Thank you everyone for your co-operation and for continuing to support each other in whatever way you can at such a very difficult time for all.
